The advocates' complaint centers on a viral video featuring Ranbir Kapoor at Kunal Kapoor's annual Christmas lunch. In the video, Zahan Kapoor pours wine over a Christmas cake while Ranbir Kapoor lights it up, exclaiming 'Jai Mata Di.' The advocates argue that the use of intoxicants prohibited in Hinduism during a Christmas celebration has offended their religious sentiments.

Advocates Rai and Mishra are seeking the registration of an FIR against Ranbir Kapoor under various sections, including 295 A (outraging religious feelings), 298 (wounding religious feelings), 500 (defamation), and 34 (common intention). The complaint emphasizes the potential impact on law and order due to the circulation of such videos.

The advocates contend that Kapoor and his family's deliberate actions during the Christmas celebration have hurt the religious sentiments of Sanatan Dharmis. The complaint raises concerns about the potential repercussions of such acts on communal harmony.

Despite the filed complaint, as of now, no FIR has been registered against the Kapoor family. The advocates await legal action in response to their allegations of religious insensitivity during the Christmas celebration.
