Privileged or not, when it comes to business, hard work, determination and integrity are what define one’s long-term success. Mahimananda Mishra’s is not a ‘rags to riches’ story, nor is it that of an overnight success; it is a story that involves focus, diligence and not to mention the hurdles along the way.

Hailing from a family of affluents in Odisha, Mishra was born on May 7, 1953. He was an alumnus of Christ College, Cuttack and MS Law College, where he served as the President of the Students Union for two years. Soon after his graduation, he established OSL Group in 1978. Initially, the group consisted of only 15 employees however, under the leadership of Mahimananda Mishra — someone who never settles and strives for the best, it grew tremendously over the years. Today, talk about India’s cargo sector and the name of OSL Group is nothing less than ubiquitous. It is counted among the largest corporates across the East Coast of India.
